In Australia you must drive on the left side of the road.
At the beginning this idea was very daunting to me, after all you have to drive on the “wrong” side of the road, but you accustom yourself relatively easy and fast to the left-hand traffic.
However it still happens to me after eight months that I want to get in the car on the wrong side.
It helps a lot that most of the streets in Perth have traffic islands which separate the lanes. In addition there are signs on every corner telling you to keep left. Perhaps the city administration thought that they have so many European inhabitants in Perth who were used to drive on the right side that they must constantly remind you to drive left.
