Red bottle brush tree

Filed under: Flora & Fauna    Email this article    Deutsche Version

red bottle brushIn Perth the flora is remarkably lucious. If something is blooming, then it’s blooming properly and in radiating colors. We walk (or rather drive) on the streets of Perth and we are always amazed of the intensive colors of the flowers and trees.

purple treeIn particular we love a tree which looks like a tree full of red bottle brushes when it’s blooming. We didn’t figure out how this tree is called, but how could we find it on the internet?

Should we search under red bottle brush tree?

sort of fruitAnother amazing tree is this purple tree which has not a single green leave.

Then there are many trees which have these strangly beautiful, velvety fruits!

It seems that flowers, bushes and trees prosper magnificently in Australia, although they say in many garden shows on television that most of the plants would not grow on meager Australian soil without gardening assistance. But it seems the Australian gardeners manage this pretty well (this is probably due to the British inheritance).
