Today I passed through a road work area where a speed limit of 40km/h was allowed. There was one of these electronic display panels which shows you the speed with which you pass through the road works.

The car in front of me was so slow that I had to drive even under the speed limit. Obviously the police in Perth believes in positive reinforements and so on the panel was displayed “Well done!”

I think that’s such a cute idea! Certainly I’ll pass through the next road work area very very slowly, so that I get lauded again. Noone shall say that laud doesn’t lead to better behavior!
