AFL - 2005 Grand Final finally at an end

To mark the occasion I want to report shortly about the Grand Final of the Australian Football yesterday. As we had written before, all Australians love Australian Football. Therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise that yesterday, September 24, 2005, everyone watched the Grand Final in Melbourne.

The Swans won 58:54 against the West Coast Eagles.

Here I want to give two reasons, why we post about this event:

  • In the 72 years history of the AFL the Swans one for the very first time
  • The AFL season is over and peace and comfort is back in the Subiaco Oval, the home stadium of the West Coast Eagles. (Remember we live next to the oval, approx. 100m)
